Cafeteria
My mouth began to flood as soon as the smell hit my olfactory bulbs. I sat a a empty table near the entrance of the cafeteria. The seat that I sat on had crumbs which I bushed to the floor. The display of chips took all the power in the world to remove my eyes. All of the different colored bags with labels of different flavors. The worst had to be the grill. The aroma filled sizzle that echoed in your ear repeatedly with no Merci. The steady beat of foot steps that marched through the lines was enough to make anyone crack. Wallets were out and ready! Flapping open and closed mocking me. Receipts printed, pens scribbled, change clinked together and the whole time I prayed for relief. My stomach grumbled, and turned over and over like a pendulum ticking away life! Those who made it out carried plates of warm beauty took seats near mine! What a crule act! Who would do such a thing? The comical crunching of all the jaws in the room through me into a sadistic shudder. I muffled my stomach and staggered into the hall.
