Billionaire

If I won the lottery today I would be very happy! The first thing I would do is pay off all of my credit card debt and school loans. Then I would buy my little brother a nice car. I would also put enough money into a savings account so both my brother and sister would have enough to go to school and not have to worry about school loans. I would also finish my own education. I would also support my parents so they could retire and travel, I would pay for everything since they supported me my whole life. After my family was fully taken care of then I would give seventeen million dollars to Muslim charities which help orphans and people who are less fortunate. After all of that then I would adopted a few kids of my own. My mother always said that "a person who never had kids doesn't really know what its like to have patients or how to be completely unselfish", I would adopt because there are so many children who need home and to be loved, and besides my mom always said she wants to be a grandma. I was planning on adopting anyway but I would feel better about things knowing that I could give then everything they need in life. Hopefully, when I die there will be enough money left over that my children and my brother and sister's children to live comfortable lives. This is what I would do with all the money.

Brainstorm

I'm not sure what my topic is going to be for our argument paper. When I chose a topic, I think I will wright the essay using the problem/solution strategy. This strategy is easier for me to do that the opposition/refute strategy because I often have trouble coming up with questions that the opposing side would ask. Problem/solution strategy is easier for me get my point across and ends up being a stronger essay. Using Aristotle's three appeals towards the audience, I would use either logos or pathos. I would use logos because it give the essay a kind of format and room for lots of evidence to support my thesis using logical examples. I would also use pathos because essays with lots of emotion are often times stronger than essays with little or no emotion at all. Just from personal experience I found that I connected more to writer that write with more emotion. It give the writing more flavor. I would use ethos in my essay as well but I think that if you use Aristotle's other two appeals crediting comes on its own. Now my only problem is finding a topic.

Glue

Last night my dad was making dinner for us. He went to open a can, the can slipped and sliced his left pinkie finger. I was sitting on the computer near the kitchen. My dad walked over to me and said " I just cut myself, could you get me a band aid?" I asked him if I could see his the cut. He uncovered his finger, exposing the cut. I saw the bone of his knuckle and the tendon that wraps around. At first I saw no blood. Then my dad bent his finger and blood gushed out. I told him that he had to go to the hospital. I ran and got my mom who was up stairs finishing the laundry. We both ran down stairs to my dad. My mom examined the wound and told him he had to go to the hospital. My dad said he didn't think that the cut was to bad he wanted to put a band aid on and call it good. My mom told him that it was too deep to just put on a band aid. If we could see bone then we had to go. My mom and dad went to the hospital. My brother and I stayed at home with my little sister. She was really worried about dad and it made her more upset that she had to stay home. Two hours later we get a call from mom telling us that dad got a Tetnus shot and they were just now closing the cut. I was putting Aliah to bed when we heard the garage door open. Both of us jumped up and dashed for the door. My dad's finger was in a sling to keep him from moving it. He ended up not getting stitches because he is going on a business trip and he wont be able to get the stitches removed. So instead the doctor glued my dad's cut together. It looked so painful but my dad said it didn't hurt too bad.

Daylight Savings

Holy moly, daylight savings has messed me up. Even though in the fall, we gain an hour of sleep, it has totally made me feel off. This morning only half of my clocks changed over so I wasn't sure what time it was. I was supposes to be at my parents house at eleven in the morning, because of daylight savings I was really late. Of course, they understood but I still felt off running so late. All day today I felt hungry at the wrong times, tired at all the wrong times as well, and now it gets darker earlier. I hate daylight savings so much. I don't understand why we do it anymore. It is such an inconvenience to adjust to the different times twice a year. I understand that back in the day, when there was lots of farmers daylight savings worked but now it is a practice that no longer benefits the people. Why don't we get rid of it? The thing that I hate most of all is the fact that when I leave work it is dark and pretty soon when I go into work it will be dark as well. So I never get to see the sun. Studies show that people who rarely see the sun have higher risks of depression. I think that we should stop this nonsense and get rid of daylight savings it is so inconvenient and irrelevant to our time.

Music

I enjoy all types of music but my favorite thing to listen to is RadioHead. I love RadioHead because they have their own sound. Tom York is the lead singer and the guitarist. He wrights all of the lyrics and the music;he is a music genius.Unfortunately, RadioHead is such a popular band concerts sell out in a matter of minutes and they never go to smaller states. RadioHead has to hit up large venues like in California. This sucks because it makes it really hard to see RadioHead live. I think if I got a chance to go to one of their shows I would cry through the whole thing.
I absolutely love all of their albums. There is not a song that I hate that RadioHead did. Its really hard for me to pick my favorite song. They are all so good! Tom York defines music; he creates sounds that I have never heard before. He is also the greatest guitar player today. In my opinion he could give Hendrix a run for his money. I get lost in his guitar sounds on a daily bases. All of the sounds are so mesmerizing. RadioHead is amazing and they are my favorite band.

Movie

The most recent movie I saw was My Best Friend's Girl. Ashley did not want to go but I wanted to see it because I love Kate Hudson. She is so cute! Anyway, we kind of expected the movie to be stupid. We didn't know anyone who had seen it or heard any reviews for it. So we weren't expecting anything great, but we were wrong; it was hilarious! It was probably the funniest movie I've seen in the theater in a long time. Dane Cook was surprisingly funny. Most of the time I feel like his material gets old. Kate Hudson compliments him perfectly. I would recommend this movie. However, there is some nudity and some crude language. Not a movie to see with your parents!
Its about this guy who is in love with his Co worker(Kate Hudson). They were dating when the guy played by Jason Biggs, wants to move ahead in the relationship. This scares Kate Hudson's character so she wants to cool the relationship off. Jason Biggs's character gets upset and hires Tank, played by Dane Cook , to take her out an the worst date of her life so that she would go running back to him. Unfortunately, things go wrong. Tank and Kate Hudson's character fall in love with each other.
I liked this movie a lot! It was really funny. We were not expecting to laugh as hard as we did. I think I would buy this movie when it comes to video. I was shocked but I would recommend this movie to others.

I believe

I believe that vanilla ice cream is the best flavor ever. It is the base of all the other flavors. Without vanilla we would have no other flavors. Vanilla ice cream is perfect on its own. Its good in a cone, in a bowl or straight from the container. Vanilla ice cream compliment other desserts as well. A brownie with vanilla ice cream! Tell me whats better than that? Oh man pie and vanilla ice cream is outrageously good. Not to mention the old fashion cake with vanilla ice cream. Don't get me wrong all ice cream is good but not half as good as just plain vanilla. These desserts would be OK with other flavored ice cream but not at all comparable to vanilla.
When I was young every birthday or family gathering we always had dessert. Dessert be it pie, cobbler, or cake, it came with vanilla ice cream. The best part about vanilla and large groups of people is that it doesn't take much to change vanilla into another flavor. In every family there is that one crazed chocolate lover. No problem! Just add a little chocolate syrup and presto you have chocolate ice cream. You could do this with any flavor your heart could desire. That's the beauty of vanilla, it could be all of the flavors or just one simple flavor. Just try to turn mocha ice cream to cherry or black berry. It is horrible! Maybe even a crime against ice cream. With vanilla you never have to worry about what you can or cant mix with it.
